SAPPI - Procurement and Contract Management Solution
SAPPI manages thousands of sub-contractual agreements and tender processes on an annual basis. The Procurement area was in need of a system to enforce compliance and improve auditability. For this nVisionIT was tasked with building a SharePoint based solution that managed the entire procurement process. The system, affectionately known as ECAMS, covers the entire value chain in procurement cycle including:
Requirement identification
Terms definition processes
Tender approval processes
Response evaluation
Contract negotiation
Actual contract generation and finally the signed contract management
Contract amendment processes
Contract renewal processes
The system is also responsible for managing compliance documentation and BEE certificates. This process integrates with the SAP financial Backend and manages vendors and has been deployed to 100+ internal users.
